- Comma-separated
Delimited text file that uses a comma to separate values (CSV) 4
- Content
Content is a hierarchical data structure that represents a file or folder’s metadata.
- Delivery Type
Each release has a delivery type property which indicates whether that release is a full or a delta release. A full release is a standalone, fully contained product. A delta release allows to apply changes to a full release.

- Iteration Type
Each release has an iteration type property which indicates whether that release is a prototype, pilot, sample, deprecated or commercial release.
- JSON
JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) 2 [#json_rfc]_ 3 is a lightweight data serialization format.
- Map Content API
The Map Content API (Map Content API) is an online Application Programming Interface (API) for licensing TomTom map content customers. The API offers direct (‘pull’) access to the most up-to-date and complete map with the ability to select features (what), geographic areas (where), and versions (when). All map content available via the Map Content API is quality guaranteed.
- Metalink
Metalink 1 is a standardised file format which can be interpreted by a download manager such as aria2c on Linux systems.
- Product
TomTom map product which is licensed to a customer.
- Product Family
Product families are logical groupings of TomTom Core Map products and products can have multiple releases.

Release is a specific version, iteration and delivery of a product.
- REST
Representational state transfer (REST) or RESTful web services are one way of providing interoperability between computer systems on the internet
- Tags
Tags is an optional field used to add additional information to a release, and do not necessarily follow a fixed structure. The format of the tags is an object of key-value pairs. Only string keys and string values are supported.
